Camp Mack, A Guy Harvey Lodge, Marina, and RV Resort

Always enjoy my time at Camp Mack! The staff is always friendly, the fishing is great and the launch is an easy ride from the hotel. I highly recommend a weekend get away for some fishing and maybe even an Air Boat Ride.

Coffee pot didn't work and fridge had not been cleaned out from previous guest. Was supposed to have adjoining rooms but were changed without notice.

Staying at Camp Mack until tomorrow. This is a decent park for the $. Not a ton of amenities if you're not a boater, which we aren't. The pool was out of order the whole time we were here, which was a bummer because it's been hot. It's situated strangely as it's literally the back yard of someone's residence. Kissimmee park is across the way and has good hiking and biking trails. The bar/food truck restaurant is outside the actual park but very close. It was decent. Good wings and pub fare. Games and live music. The band at the campgrounds last night was excellent. There's not a bar there but they sell beer. Most people stayed in their golf carts to watch. Picnic tables otherwise. Airboat Rides was closed for the weekend. Someone said it was opening day for turkey hunting so he closed up shop. We walked next door to camp Lester but their boat was under repair, so we went to Bok Tower and Gardens. About a 25 minutes away. Very nice!! Spotty wifi and it's 5$/day. Can't make phone calls unless you have Verizon. The well water is pure Sulphur until you run it a while. It's still very smelly and probably the biggest reason I won't come back. It smelled up our camper it was that bad. Caterpillars right now are getting bad. I saw someone mention an infestation at some other parks. They are everywhere here especially under trees. We have a shaded premium site which is comfortable temperature wise, but very dirty with tree debris. Bring your Blower! I give it 2.5 stars because pool was closed and no boat trips available.
