We love our new kitchen! Homestyles Group designed and completed a total renovation, cabinets, appliances, countertop, plumbing and electrical. Steve, our project manager, was at our house almost daily and always responsive to calls and texts. Their employees and subcontractors were skilled and responded to any issues or changes. Doing a renovation during the pandemic was a challenge, with delays in products and staffing issues, but they kept us informed. We did our part by being involved and available when they needed us. Our experience with The Homestyles Group was nothing short of fantastic. We are truly blessed with the decision to work with Mike and the team he managed and assembled with The Homestyle Group. Our home remodel has made our lives so much easier. My wife is completely disabled with ALS and the modifications to our home has really enabled us to live here comfortable, given our circumstances, and is actually helping us reconnect as a family. It is difficult to put into words, so I'll just say that it's having a huge, positive impact on our lives. The work done is craftsman work, beautifully done, far better than I had imagined. Mike managed everything so well that our entire home remodel was completed, start to finish, in about 2 months. You really do not need to look elsewhere if you're planning on a major home project. My family and I are more than happy with the job, we are incredibly grateful to Mike, his family, and The Homestyles Group. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! I unfortunately had my kitchen remodeled by Homestyles. They were unresponsive to emails, texts, and phone calls. They designed a blind cabinet that has a 6 1/2" opening making it not useable. They measured incorrectly and had to remove a good portion of my wall. They chipped my tile floor and then accused me of lying about it. They installed my dishwasher incorrectly and when it was run the pipes made horrible noises. They refused to call the plumber back in to correct it and instead had their handyman use a lot of flex tape to tape the pipes together and told me that was what any plumber would do. I had to call in a plumber who removed the tape and corrected the situation. Homestyles has refused to reimburse me the $105 cost of the plumber. The plumber also discovered that the hose to the dishwasher was not properly installed and was leaking. Homestyles ordered the wrong pieces to build in my refrigerator as well as the end cabinet and those pieces had to be reordered. They never admitted their mistakes. No one from Homestyles was here when the quartz people came to make a template for the countertop and there was no notation as to the width of the bar top. After telling me how important it was to hire someone familiar with acrylic cabinets, they hired a "quality control" person that had never worked with those cabinets. In addition, they were to replace my bifold pantry doors with French doors at an additional cost of $2750. The quality is so poor, they had to replace one of the doors three times. The final door is warped (by their own admission) but Homestyles refuses to order another set saying it "falls within the acceptable tolerance range". It surely is not acceptable to anyone else! All in all it was one of the worst experiences of my 55 years of home ownership. There is not one false statement in this review! Highly recommend using the Homestyles Group! We hired them to do our dream kitchen remodel and everything turned out fantastic. There were a few minor bumps along the way but totally expected considering the size of the project (walls removed, plumbing moved, complete electrical rewire, appliances moved, drywall, etc). Regardless they were very responsive and quick to fix any issues that came up during the remodel. Working with Miranda during the design phase was fantastic. She was attentive to our needs but yet very helpful in her suggestions when we were having trouble making decisions. Our project manager Steve was also fantastic! He was on top of everything and always kept in contact with us throughout the project. Any time something came up he was there. The skill workers that Homestyles uses were also all very exceptional in their craft. Overall we just couldn't be happier with our Kitchen and the choice we made to use the Homestlyes Group.
