The Grove Apartments

I moved from The Grove apartments almost two years ago and just had someone ask me about my stay there, so I thought Id review here as well. Brenda and her staff are simply amazing. I lived there alone and always felt extremely safe. It was quiet and just overall very cozy and comfortable. Never any bug problems (I was worried about that). If my circumstances didnt change, Id have probably lived there for many years.

Lived here for 2 years, relatively safe environment. Leaving because each time trash is left out on the ground or friend comes over to visit I get a letter in the door or a call saying I leave trash everywhere or have a Mexican style house hold with multiple people living in a two bedroom. They don't ask for proof just what they think and that's all. Careful of neighbors for I'm sure it's them pointing fingers at others for their transgressions. They are quick to break your lease over these things or tell you you can no longer live here. Be cautious when moving here.

I have lived at the grove since around the end of May. I have been really happy so far. Maintenance is great you call they come. The front office staff is great. I love the gated community I feel very safe. And the pool is the best my family has enjoyed it this summer. I'm grateful for having a great place to live.

Wouldnt live here again if it were free. If you ever end your lease, dont expect them to notify you of any forwarded mail or items left behind. Ex-roommates family wrongfully took $300 worth of ATT equipment, and they will not provide me the forwarding address of the people who took my property. Wouldnt even cooperate with local law enforcement. Disappointed, but not surprised.

I lived here for 1.5 years. Just moved out at the end of the year. It's the best apartment complex I've ever lived in. I've never had a problem with the office/maintenance staff or neighbors. Brenda and her team at the office are very nice and they do what they can to resolve issues fast and fair. One time we needed the sliding mirror door removed from our kids room closet and they had maintenance down there the next day to remove it. Will and Joe (maintenance) are very professional. They come, do what they need to do, and leave without you even noticing them most of the time. They answer questions you might have about what they are doing and are easy to talk to. Plus, if you are outside when they drive by on their carts, they'll wave at you! The apartments themselves are pretty nice for the price. Well painted, new carpet, cleaned very well, no bad smells/stains, no bugs. Right after I moved in, they hired a company to come coat my bathtub with a really nice water-proof sealant. It's really easy to clean and doesn't let grime and stuff build up easily. Idk if they did that with all the apartments though. They have an in-ground pool, a playground area, and a little dog park. We didn't have a dog, but we took our little girl to the playground quite a bit and she loved it. The equipment is sturdy and well maintained. The pool was closed quite a bit due to covid in 2020, but they opened it up more in the summer of 21. It almost always looked nice and was great to swim in. They contractor they have to clean the pool does a great job. Overall a great place to live. If I ever move back to the area, I'll definitely be checking them out again.
