When we first used JC Penny in 2016 as buyers, we were treated like royalty, however when we chose to sell this year, we thought we would use them again as we thought we knew what we would be getting. What a mistake! Uncommunicative, unprofessional, lost us the second part of a deposit payment to the tune of $5000 through mismanagement of our transaction on a first "sale", worked harder at resolving our "buyers" requirements rather than ours, fearful of talking to buyers agents to do the job of actually SELLING our home, merely content with posting up a few pictures, answering a couple of emails, but actual selling? Non existent! Advised us on a value of the home, then suggested a lower figure to foster interest and fullero bidding, but immediately wanted us to accept a lowball offer saying it was " a good offer" and compounded that by agreeing that the buyer offering to stay in the process if we dropped our price by a further $15k was yet another "good offer". Obviously we said no and did subsequently close eventually on another offer that was $10k over the listed price... The sales process in America is bad enough on its own merits, without any additional input from realtors that aren't that bothered. So I would say if you are buying, go for it, they will probably look after you, if you are selling, I feel there may be more proactive and interested realtors out there

Our agent, Connie Ragle, was wonderful! First she reassured us and helped us understand that homeownership was within our grasp. Then she worked tirelessly arranging home viewings, collecting and sharing data with us about potential homes, showing the homes and putting in offers when we were ready. After helping us find our dream home, our first home ever purchased, she patiently guided us 'newbies' through the process to the end. She made what could be a very tedious messy process a dream. I would highly recommend her to my family, friends and network. I'm sure she is a real example of the team at JC Penny Realty, so I would also recommend JC Penny Realty to anyone searching for a home. Thank you Connie and JC Penny for everything!!
