Our Miami Familia has vacation in KW for two decades. Trumbo Point has afforded us the opportunity to save thousands of dollars that we could spend on very expensive water sports, gourmet dinners, major concerts, and the blue water paradise. My wife and I, have years of memories watching the joy on our children's faces as they enjoyed the many water sports and discover the outstanding history of KW. I'd give it a 4.5 stars. Stayed in a single story condo in April 2023 for the teenage kid's spring break (four people total) and for four nights. The 3-bedroom single story condos are on the ends of the double story condo section. At a $167 a night, it's hard to beat the price although the condo is no frills and really has minimal decorum or charm, but they are clean. The three beds are queen sized and relatively comfortable. The 1.5 baths will meet your basic needs. The pros of staying here are the price and location, not far from downtown. Recommend renting bikes--it's easier to get around town and not worry about parking the car. We felt safe enough to ride at night. Other option is to Uber everywhere. Anyways, having a kitchen along with a washer and dryer are a bonus. The cons are you could hear the traffic from the master bedroom at night, almost like the windows are single paned. The teenage kids said they couldn't hear the traffic from their rooms so it could have been just me. Once you got passed the condo's lack of charm, it's a good place to stay. On a side note, don't rule out the cottages which are single wide trailers and right next to the condos. They are new; about a year old. For what it's worth, I'd stay here again. Save money on the hotel and spend it elsewhere having fun in Key West.
