Thirsty Mermaid

The food is great. We stop here once we land before we even check into our hotel every time we go to Key West. The conch and artichoke salad is the best! It is a much healthier option for the keys. It's beer and wine only and a quaint cute restaurant. I've never been served anything less than wonderful there.

Perfect place if you don't like binge eating but something more sophisticated. We took crab stone, divided into 2 and bruschetta with octopus. Very good crab, bruschetta could definitely improve. A glass of white wine from Napa Valley... a steep bill... but in the context of Florida I would say... we went to the hotel satisfied. Wheelchair accessibility: Yes

Small little corner restaurant a little off the path of Duval street. Menu was a little off for us. This is more on us than the restaurant. Lots of raw options and sea food. Limited on the drinks option with beer and wine only. Staff was friendly. Seemed like there were some regular guests visiting that loved the place. Physical space is small and feels a little tight when a few parties are eating.

After swimming in the pool and feeling all icky and stuffing my mouth with constant seafood (its Key West, what else would I expect?). I wanted to eat something not involving seafood. Yes the name is of a cool sea creature but hey, might as well shoot my shot. I ordered the Gnnochi and my god, it was so good and the portion they give is insane especially with the price. It could feed like 2 adults. In my humbles opinion , if youre is key west and tired of seafood or your children hate seafood, try this place out. Kid-friendliness: A Large variety of food to eat and theyre so good. Wheelchair accessibility: Theres a pretty cool ramp!

This place was recommended in Lonely Planet and by a waitress from another restaurant and we had a wonderful lunch there--fish sandwich special and burger. That may not sound special but they were delicious.
