NAPA Auto Parts - Beckmann's Auto Parts

Be careful. This is a privately owned NAPA that scams and rips off their customers. I have been coming here for years and they repeatedly refuse to return any parts for any reason, even if they are defective or do not fit your vehicle. They are very aggressive with returns if you try to get your money back. I went in to return an alternator that did not fit my vehicle and store manager Gary started measuring the alternator with an aggressive attitude while slamming parts on the table and calling me a liar. They dont care if you purchased the part less than 24 hours ago, they dont care if you have a receipt, they dont care if the part is brand new and unused, and they dont care if they sold you the wrong part or if the part is defective. Gary accused me of finding the part elsewhere for cheaper and walked away shouting: Say what you want. Im not returning it! Very unprofessional. Luckily, I was able to get my refund for the alternator through NAPA customer service. I have bought car batteries from here that dont work or fit and there is always a constant issue with other parts (it seems the employees dont know how to look up parts for certain cars). If the part is electrical they refuse refunds altogether even though the other NAPA stores dont have that same policy. Go to a corporate owned location and save yourself the headache. If you purchase a part here and you run into any issues, good luck getting a refund unless you go through corporate like I have had to do many times. Gary is aggressive and lacks customer service skills.

Nothing in the store has a price, gee I wonder why. The first time in the store the item I was interested in was priced 85% higher than where I ended up purchasing the exact same item from. The second time around the item was 20% higher. I can never buy anything from them. I don't mind paying a little more for the convenience but everything has a limit.
