We were looking for flooring and came across this store. Dane the owner, has many different varieties of flooring available and was able to find us the perfect flooring for our home. I would definitely recommend Royal Rug & Flooring!

My wife and I had a flood in our condo and needed to have about 1200SF of engineered wood and tile replaced. We purchased the flooring separately and hired Royal to do the work. It was a 5-star experience. To start, we were out of town but the owner of Royal, Dane, went out of his way to help us both with the condo and the flooring, including having the tile picked up. Dane also came to the condo with the tile installer, Leo, and they both talked through the job with me by phone. One item in particular was that the tile needed to match the height of the existing kitchen marble floor although the materials are different thicknesses. Leo did an outstanding job getting the height correct and matching it seamlessly. Lesser installers would not take the time to do it so well. But its evident from talking to Dane, which I did a lot - he communicates well, and always responds to messages, that he and his company are both very customer-focused, and intent on providing high quality work, which they did. (If theres a spot to attach some pics, I will.) To that end, the job was done on time, they showed up when they said they would, and they did a pretty thorough cleaning of the apartment when they finished. Cost-wise, they are very reasonable and competitive and will work with you to control costs as much as possible. Ive had my share of good and bad contractor experiences - Royal is squarely in the former camp, really terrific, and highly recommended.

I highly recommend this local business for any & all of your flooring needs. The owner, Dane, was very knowledgeable in all of the various types of floorings and took his time to explain the pros & cons of each, which most businesses i went to did not. He took his time helping us find the right color flooring for our home and gave us a great deal for all of the material. If and when I do future renovations again, I will definitely be coming back to him!

I had to pleasure to work with Dane, the owner of Royal Rug and Flooring. They are licensed what is very important and also deliver the best quality of flooring and tiles. Such an amazing experience! Definitely would recommend them to all my family and friends. Thank you Dane!

So far so good ! I have a very old house with not simple problems or fixes. I already have experienced other contractors giving me flippant comments and confusing or even conflicting information. Some who just seem to barely know their stuff. Not so with Royal Rug! Dane M. Has been extremely thorough in discussing available options with meeven talking to me about the pros and cons of each. When there has been a question as to how to address an issue he consulted his partner who has the structural knowledge and experience to explain the needs and not needs, with Dane working with me patiently to help me make the choice that is right for me at this time. (This isnt about carpet colors! Its about floor structural repairs on a very beautiful, well loved old , Florida Pine St. Petersburg home . Im hoping its my forever home and am a person who wants things done right, or at least very well if I can only afford s viable alternative. My finances have some limits and Dane appears to be working with me, with that thoughtfulness in mind. In my opinion his approach is more of a project manager than a product salesman, and that works for me as I learn and weigh my options. If youre considering a home rehab project Id definitely consider giving him a callhes willing and positive and at the very least you may find new or different options, and also seems to be pricing his jobs very fairly. Im kind of a rehab ninja within the limits of my own abilityso Ill get back to you with the results!
