This is a mixed review. I’ve been going to the Jupiter location for years and the service has been pretty good for the most part (4 stars). However my last appointment on December 9th has been dragging on with regard to getting a prescription for eye medication. This Eye & Ear location cannot e-prescribe any meds to any pharmacies in Jupiter. You must get a paper script from them and hand deliver it to your pharmacy of choice. No big deal…. I brought my script to CVS in town. They immediately notified me that prior authorization was needed from my insurance company and to stand by. The doctor told me this could happen but not to worry - they would handle the prior authorization headache. 2.5 weeks later, there is still no Rx filled. CVS said to call my eye doctor. 20 minutes on the phone with Eye & Ear speaking to an office assistant who had no idea what to do when I explained I needed a new Rx since the insurance company was silent on the medication needed. I was on hold while she made several calls for help. She said she was alone in the office and didn’t know what to do. She had to call the doctor at home who told her to tell me she would order a generic medication the next day or two. I can’t pick up the new script until Friday. Today is Tuesday. I had to double verify with the assistant that she would remember me when I come in Friday to pick up my new script so that I don’t have to go through a repeat of todays fiasco. My advice to folks is find an eye doctor that can e-prescribe meds directly to a pharmacy to cut down on the wait period and delays.

Dr. Frankel at Eye & Ear of the Palm Beaches is knowledgeable, takes a holistic approach and educates the patient to support an informed patient-and-doctor decision. It is so rare but exactly what every patient should receive - I am grateful to have Dr. Frankel as part of my medical team. In addition the office is clean with modern technology. No wait and staff is pleasant and professional. Highly recommend with incredible enthusiasm.
