I started taking basic classes in 2019. I recently restarted and are currently taking Intermediate Herbalism learning more each time. MS. Candice is always dropping gems of knowledge.

BAD EXPERIENCE: It's a shame that after decades of building up a reputable holistic business, "Florida School of Holistic Health," that the owner, Donna is risking her school's reputation, by trusting Candice Motley to teach students of ethnicities which Candice apparently would rather not teach. Candice isn't a consummate professional, instead adjusts her behavior based on who the student is. She is passive aggressive, may be thinking you're not smart enough to know exactly what she is doing. Aside from a bad experience with Candice, also the school's administration, led by Donna, isn't all about ensuring that every student has the best learning experience. Despite having a meek demeanor and seemingly welcoming spirit upon meeting her, Donna turned out not to be the great leader I thought she was. In the end, my take away from the experience with Donna and Candice are: Donna needs Candice's help to teach the lower level classes, Candice has health issues and other issues which impact on the quality of her teaching. After you pay your non-refundable tuition then realize you're not getting high-quality teaching from Candice and her behavior is sketchy, don't expect to have an honest conversation with Donna as the head of the school, resulting in a satisfactory outcome on your behalf. Donna notes that most people are satisfied with what they get at her school. So, where does that leave those of us whose experiences are not satisfactory
