Scheduled an estimate to cable my Oak tree and on the scheduled day a no show. Texted Rich and he apologized and said he forgot to put me on the schedule. Too bad, I dont do business with businesses that dont call and show up. No excuses. Lots of other businesses willing and able.

Hired them to trim a tree that had damaged my roof with its growth. After an issue with permission to use the parking lot behind my house, what was supposed to happen in october was rescheduled for november. The day comes, and instead of doing the job they leave because the apartments had build another fence in front of the existing one instead of replacing the old one...now they would have to cut a hole through and later repair 2 identical wooden fences instead of one, and for some reason this is a problem. At that time I was told there was an issue with the crane and Rich would check in with me in a few days to let me know when theyd get it done. Cut to nearly a month later and I haven't heard from the man, despite numerous texts and voicemails (yeah, dude wont even answer the phone when I call nor call me back). Unprofessional is an understatement. Now I have to restart the process of getting estimates, picking one, and going to the end of their schedule all while my roof continues to leak because I cant repair it until the tree limb that damaged it is removed. Not only is this unprofessional, it's downright cowardly. If you're going to flake out and not do the job then at least have the balls to just fkin tell me so I can hire someone else! *note* the owner is a liar below...The original lack of permission to use the parking lot was due to a miscommunication, he had told me he was bringing in a crane and coming over the house from the front, so I hadn't spoken to them to get permission to use the lot. It took a little over a week to rectify that, not a month...HE chose to wait another 2 weeks after that before coming back out. He didnt tell me the aprtments had forbidden him to cut the fence, he just told me that when they arrived and saw the brand new fence up they decided to leave. When he spoke to me after the fence thing, he said the crane was out of service for repairs and told me he would check back with me in a few days once they knew how long the crane would be out of service, and did not do so. That 'I'll check in with you when we know when the crane will be fixed" was the LAST communication I had with him up until he replied to this review. He has refused to return any communication since. As far as I know they never came out with the crane at all, because while I was out of town so was my immediate neighbor so BOTH of our driveways were empty until after thanksgiving, and I spoke with my other neighbor Carl and nobody ever came to him asking him to move a car. Check yelp, the guy apparently has a history of doing the same thing to others, just stopping responiding to people. By the way Rich, in case you haven't figured it out, you're fired. *Update 2* Hired Durance Tree Service instead. He came in more than 20% cheaper than rich. Also, I asked the apartments if we could go through the fence, and they OK'd it on the spot, thus proving rich's claims that the apartment wouldnt allow it to be another lie. Do not hire this man.
