After a few years of trying to convince my daughter to have someone remove a non functional chimney riser that leaked, we finally contracted Scott with Excel Roofing. I drove up from Cocoa that same morning to meet with John who was assigned the task of the removal. Scott could not have sent anyone better to complete the task than John. John sized it up, completely removed the riser, and put new wood and shingles in place of the hole. I highly recommend Excel roofing for any roofing issue you may have. I have received bids from 3 roofing companies, and have selected Excel Roofing because they offered the most options, had the soonest start date, and are known in the local area to provide a high quality product. The communication with Denise in the office was Excel lent, as was the site survey by Scott, the owner. I am currently waiting for Clay County to approve/issue the permit and will follow up with a finished review. 3/21/2022...As promised, here is my follow up. The work done on my roof was outstanding. There were no issues at all, as the crew was experienced and well lead. The quoted price was exactly what I was billed. Excel roofing even fixed a porch roof leak that was not part of the bid. If I'm around in 25 years when I may need a new metal roof, I hope I can find a roofing contractor that can come close to their quality and service. Thanks Scott, John, Bobby, Mike, and Miguel!
