Cypress Village

My dad is at Cypress for rehab after a week in the hospital. A friend referred my family to this facility. The staff is very professional and friendly. My dad has only been there a couple of days, but I am very impressed and would recommend to anyone.

My husband, Tom and I moved fro m our home in beautiful Amelia Island, Florida, in 2018 to a 6th floor apartment in the "Towers" building overlooking Cypress Lake. Our friends of 20 plus years were getting "older" and moving to be near family or passing on. Our children lived on the West Coast and were happy leading their lives, so we decided to think about our future without nursing home insurance and moved to the village with it' s CCRC program, including Independent Living, Assisted Living and Memory Care provisions. We love it here even through Covid restrictions. We don't have to leave the building for meals, a bar, exercise classes, and endless activities and friends... We also love the area, convenient to beaches, shopping and downtown Jacksonville (love the Jax Symphony group bus, etc.)

Its always a lovely experience going to Cypress Village for any reason. The staff is friendly and helpful, the place is always clean and well appointed with lovely grounds and plantings, and patients are well cared for and happy.
