My wife bought a rug from this store. Because it was their display model, they told her she'd have to get it shipped from their warehouse instead. She got a confirmation email a few days later and another email saying the item had shipped and then....nothing. That was over a month ago. She called their customer service center and the woman could do was repeat that it was "in transit" 50 times. She also claimed it had shipped "4th Class" but couldn't seem to get it straight who their shipper is, UPS or USPS. And last I heard only applied to books and material for the blind. Do yourselves a favor folks, if you like the look of Ballard Designs, guess what, Pottery Barn looks exactly like it. They have stores all over the place and their customer service is actually helpful. We furnished our daughter's dorm room with them and no issues at all. There's a reason they're a fixture all over the country and Ballard just has a handful of stores in the South. Note to Ballard Customer Service, please spare me the "we're sorry about your negative experience blah blah blah" and I already know your customer service email. Judging from the other reviews emailing your customer service would just be a waste of time. The only call I'll be making is to my credit card company canceling this payment.
