I am not posting this as a customer but as a resident in the building where the company was working today. We approached the gate to see a truck stopped half way across the gate. We pulled up to look and then turn around. At this point a Mantle security employee, he didn't give a name but it was a blonde man with a beard, comes around the gate box claiming his arms.We stopped for a second to see what he wanted. For all I knew he needed help. He starts screaming at us that we need to turn the hell around and not to be up here. I said out of the window we are turning around. Note that you have to pull way into the drive to turn around in order to not back into traffic.As we start moving he keeps waving his arms and yelling things at us. I said again we're turning around. He yelled well you could have done that back there. I guess he was implying that I should turn around in the street. At this point I was beginning to get upset.I said hey we're not trying to sneak by or anything. Just trying to get enough room to turn around. He said well it's a fucking safety issue. I could get hurt. I asked him then where are you trafffic cones to tell us you're working. There are no cones and the truck parked in the gate is an unmarked civilian vehicle. How am I supposed to know what is happening with out this markers.Either way I reported this to the apartment office because this isn't how you talk to people. Honestly I will never need the services of a security or gate company at my home but I promise if I am ever in the situation to warn others against this service I will happily do so.
