This is such a terrible business. How can you knowingly run such an awful and useless establishment? I have a dear sweet friend who went here and is now more depressed than ever. Absolutely crushed for her and her family. Shame on you, and shame on Angela Kalum. You know what you did.

At first it was great. Then when I needed help no one was there for me at all. My provider did not message back and when she did, it was after a few days and the tone was very rude. Cant believe this happened again, I just wanted to find someone who could help me, and care at the same time. Thats not too much to ask. I saw Angela Kalum and dont know why there was such an extreme mood shift with her. If she cant give her patients the time and help they need, she shouldnt take on any more patients?? Called to cancel my appointment, said I was really disappointed in the way she treated me, then my patient portal was deleted so sketchy? Whats wrong with you guys? Are you kidding me?

Carolyn McClinton Is the best. Caring and listens to my questions and concerns. Always listened and tries to work with me for what is best. Have never had any issues with her. Always friendly and a pleasure to work with all the time. She is funny and very personal but also professional. Wouldnt want to go anywhere else. Keep up the fantastic job you are doing Carolyn McClinton.

If you are looking for comprehensive, capable treatment for Adult ADHD, I highly recommend that you seek it with someone other than Carolyn McClinton. The lack of awareness surrounding my specific diagnosis was palpable, and lead to more confusion and a trauma response before every psychiatrist appointment. Minimizing side effects (example: an uptick in symptomology around my menstrual cycle) and acting as though what I am saying doesnt have any relevance to the topic at hand was very reminiscent of a toxic relationship that I had been in. Needless to say, I was surprised to be receiving this kind of feedback from a medical professional. I was informed by McClinton that she struggled to focus sometimes too, but that she just didnt take medication. ADHD is so much more than simply having trouble focusing, and that kind of disempowering input is toxic and damaging towards those attempting to seek treatment after a lifetime of self-worth issues (common in those with ADHD). I tried different medications that didnt work for me for one reason or another. McClinton consistently seemed to be doubtful towards the value of my input on my own treatment. I do realize that I can be a particularly obstinate patient to attempt to treat, as I work in mental health and know that I need to advocate for myself persistently to be heard correctly. I am open to feedback and input, but I need to have my feedback received as well. My lack of doctoral degree does not render me incapable of receiving physical/mental feedback from my own body, and to dismiss that feedback as irrelevant is irresponsible. Attempting to coordinate with McClinton was a feat in and of itself, leading to unintelligible messages and even more confusion. The straw that finally pushed me to seek treatment elsewhere was transferring to a different insurance company. I informed that we would need to discuss a different medication due to my previous medication no longer being covered. I was met with doubt regarding the validity of my statement regarding cost, informed that I shouldnt need a refill yet, and informed that I could have a Prior Authorization form filled out following my appointment in order to get my needed medications. I called my Pharmacy Benefits Manager (PBM) with Optum attempting to eliminate any barriers to navigating the PA process. PBM listened and informed that the forms can take anywhere from 24-72 hours to go through for coverage, which would cause me to have a lapse in medication. PBM then called my doctors office to attempt to have the PA form filled out PRIOR to my appointment, so I wouldnt run out of medication. PBM informed that Nique was very rude, informing that they would only fill out the form if it took less than 3 mins (The call was made at 4pm, office was open until 5). PBM informed me that the form had been started, and then cancelled. Prior to seeking a different provider, McClinton sent me a message that was difficult to decipher. Naturally I asked for clarity. McClinton finally replied to me 2 DAYS AFTER my scheduled appointment to inform me that I could bring a PA form with me to my appointment to have her fill it out. My appointment was not only 2 days prior, it was also telehealth. Luckily I had already sought treatment elsewhere. This is a prime example as to why most if not ALL of the people that I work with struggle to communicate with their doctor, and therefore struggle to receive adequate treatment.
