Elase Med Spa: Town Center (Formerly AMARA)

If I could leave a no star review I would! This place has ripped me off with laser hair removal. After paying 3,000 dollars and driving 30 mins one day and 30 mins back the other to have MANY treatments done with ZERO success they decided to switch lasers. I was told by three providers that the old laser did NOT work & they were sorry for the wasted time but ensured that the new laser would. After one session with the new laser the establishment wanted me to now pay $350 per treatment every time I come. Instead of being a professional establishment and having a conversation with your client before appointment time they waited till I drove once again all the way there .. wasting more time & gas to tell me as I got into the room to undress that I would need to start paying MORE money for the new laser that is suppose to work. I dont know about you but $3,000 is not a small amount of money to have nothing to show for and driving an hour each time to have this procedure done was a waste of my time which is more valuable than everything. I asked to speak with the manager because I did not think that this was acceptable. She came in to let me know that I have reached my max treatments with the old laser so now I need it to start paying. I informed her that the old laser did not work in case she forgot. She straight lied to my face and told me it does work on some and they use it at another location but not that location anymore. I looked at her and told her how three providers have told me that the laser does not work. And that I have already paid a ton of money. She was very unprofessional and stumbling on her words the entire time. She did not care what I had to say and it was basically pay the 350 or leave. So I walked out the door. On a completely different complaint one morning I showed up for my 8am appointment to be greeted by a confused girl asking can I help you? She had no clue why I was even there. I showed her all the confirmation text that I had leading up to my appointment as they sent out quite a few of them to remind you of your appointment. All she could do is say, I am so sorry! Im only one here. This place has become so unprofessional. It is insane & i WANT MY MONEY BACK.

This place is amazing and makes you feel so pampered and relaxed! I drive from Orange Park just to see Katarina for my skin treatments. She is so sweet, caring and really makes you feel comfortable. She is also so informative and there every step of your skin care needs! My skin is looking so amazing after facials and microneedling treatments! I have always struggled with acne and I'm so happy my skin is acne free and looking the best it ever has!

I have been seeing Katarina for almost four years now and she is everything you are looking for in an aesthetician! She is kind, caring, professional, knowledgeable and amazing at what she does. In the years Ive been with her she has completely changed my skin, I went from wearing a full face of foundation everyday no matter what I was doing to now Im a sunscreen and mascara only girly. I have seen Amanda, Sarah and Kristine for Botox/Dysport and every single one of them are amazing at what they do and take the time to educate their clients. I will see any one of them again. These ladies are the best in Jax and the entire team at Amara has blown me away! I would recommend these girls and this place to anyone.
