Every negative thing youve read on this chain thread is true. I worked here back in 2020, the turnover rate was so high that it was just me working the area at one point. The manager has no empathy whatsoever, and definitely knows how to deceive not only employees, but the people we sold the phones to. There were many times I went home without a paycheck. Worked a 10 hour shift to not make any money because I didnt sell three upgraded phones that day. You were also expected to go to any after hour work event there was. I worked overtime, and never saw an extra dime. My breaking point was one night when I was on the phone with the manager and he was lecturing me about how I hadnt sold three upgraded phones in that day. His next line was You would have made more working at McDonalds today I quit the next day. It took a couple weeks for him to respond to any message about my final check. He had no idea what he even owed me. If you want to work for a trashy company, go ahead but I would never want to deal with this guy again.

I worked here back in 2019, and I doubt much has changed. Here's my experience. Honestly, if you care about people and if you care about vulnerable populations then this not the job for you. This job is all about results and money. Coworkers may and will lie, intentionally or unintentionally, to get people to sign up for the product. Some don't know that what they're saying is false and others simply don't care, because you're incentivized to sign up as many people as possible for a free phone. If you get people to buy the $25 upgraded phone, then you get $10+ more per person you pitch an upgrade to. Sad how many poor people are deceived about the phone's capabilities and data storage. My manager at the time delivered to me a check from a bank account that he had closed. I had to argue with him for days to get my money and the overdraft fees back. The check bounced and I was overdrawn $35 per item that went over. When I told him, he ignored some of my messages and then he laughingly told me that, after speaking to his accountant and lawyer, that my check bouncing and account being overdrawn wasn't his fault, but "because we've never had any issues" he'd pay it. First off, THE LAW REQUIRES THAT EMPLOYERS PAY OVERDRAFT FEES and delivering a fraudulent check is a class C misdemeanor crime! Yet, he was acting like he was doing me a favor by obeying the law! He also changed the number of how many people had had a "similar issue" from this being a first time thing to it having happened "a few times." It also feels very cultish there. You never have time for your family and personal life.
