I used this company twice on my first home inspection they did great job saved me tons of money on home repairs with foundation issues. The 2nd inspection on my new home things didn't go well home inspector didn't walk the roof also listed reason as roof pitch being 4/12 but the house is 3/12. So they flew drone over the roof missed few obvious issues on roof that can be seen in picture by someone who has experience in roofs which i dont have. I called the company to talk to manager few days ago and have yet get phone call back about it. Now i dont want phone call so dont call. First home inspection 5 Stars 2nd home inspection 2 stars.

My home inspector was Daniel Fults at AmeriPro. Thank you both for having great inspectors and a great eye for details. No complaints from me.

Daniel was a great inspector very thorough and provided pointers and suggestions. Both on minor and any major things. I paid $550 for a four point, home inspection and wind mitigation and it was definitely worth it!

I am unable to ascertain whether my terrible experience with Ameripro was due to my experience with the inspector or Ameripro, he works for them after all. Ill just state the facts and you can make your own informed decision. 1. Because I am not from the Jacksonville area, my choice of a service was influenced by a real estate agent. 2. The contract for the service was between myself and Ameripro. The contract specifies that the inspector will make only one visit, and that a second or additional visit may involve additional cost. The information Ameripro provides states that most reports are provided within 24 hours, and I believe that one might reasonably expect that a report on a one floor condominium would be provided within 48 hours. 3. The inspection was performed in my absence because Southwest Airlines cancelled my flight one hour before takeoff and no reservations were available that would get me there in tine at anything close to a reasonable cost. 4. The inspection was performed early on a Thursday afternoon. I was present by video. 5. On Friday morning when I called to inquire when I might expect the report, I was informed that the report was going to be delayed because the inspector was going back to reinspect a specific serious finding that was scheduled to be addressed. 6. I did not request a re-inspection. Who made that request, and why was it honored without getting the approval of or at least consulting with or informing the contract holderme? Do you believe that a company that says it would charge for additional visits would conduct a second visit free of charge when it hadnt been requested by the individual with it had the contract OR that an employee of that company would decide to do that without consulting with his or her supervisor unless there was another reason? Do you believe that a real estate inspection for which you have contracted should perform a second inspection without first getting your approval or even informing or consulting with you? 7. So, if neither I (the contractee) or my agent (he says) made the request for a reinspection, who did? The only other person present at the inspection was the sellers agent. Did the inspector perform a second inspection at the request of an agent of the seller (whose interests are exactly the opposite of the buyer?) Does Ameripro routinely act to serve sellers rather than buyers, and is that OK? Do the real estate laws in Florida which are tilted in favor of The Transaction mean that buyers should insist that all contracts they sign should specify that the contract the individual or service answers only to them. 8. Its possible that my experience was a one-of. You decide for yourself, but your best course of action might be to engage only with independent inspectors who owe allegiance only to you not to The Deal.. Additional Information I made three phone calls to Ameripro on Friday. At the end of the first, I asked to speak to the supervisor and was told she wasnt available. I called four hours later and was told she was working from home, but she would call me back. She never did. During the third call, I was given the name of the individual who performed the inspection and who was preparing the report. After a few hours of phone tag, we spoke and he indicated he would get the report in that evening, but it had to go through an audit, over which he had no control and might not be available until Monday.
