As someone who works in education, I take my children's own educational experience very seriously. Since transferring my children to Cornerstone at the beginning of the 2021-2022 school year, I have seen an incredible impact on their learning and engagement. The curriculum is rigorous and well-rounded, with students learning science, social studies, and a foreign language (Latin) beginning in kindergarten. Their integrated approach to teaching subjects using research-based strategies means that students develop strong literacy and math skills while also learning about American and world history, civilizations, and science topics. Students are exposed to multiple perspectives and have the opportunity to dive deep into developmentally appropriate topics. Beyond the curriculum, the faculty and staff are extremely dedicated, knowledgeable, kind, and professional. They have made our family feel so welcome since day one. Finally, the community that has been built at the school is amazing. They go the extra mile to offer many activities and events for students inside and outside of school, and the family engagement and support is incredible.
