After being seen by military doctors for the last decade, its really nice to go to a doctor that listens and genuinely cares about his patients.

Weve been seeing Dr. Toledo for about a year and a half since moving to Jax. Initially we were happy with the service, as he does give you plenty of time when at his office, although expect to be seen late. Since December him and the office have seemed really off their game. Not responding to messages in EPIC, not responding to calls to the office where I left messages for him. I saw him in December and specifically requested if he could check some of my labs, including my iron levels due to my medical history. When I had the lab work done, they didnt do my iron levels and it was not even ordered. I left multiple messages to him in EPIC and called the office about this no less than 3 times. Spoke with Cheryl, and was told that he has a really full caseload, he had been out sick, and theres no one to cover for him. I mentioned his PA and was told she has her own case load. Also, in the December appointment he sent my routine medications to the wrong pharmacy (mail order so I couldnt even go to pick them up) and it also took at least three or four calls plus messages in epic to get that resolvedonly was fixed when I asked to speak with the office manager. I switched to the other new provider in the office and Im hoping to have a different experience, if not, well definitely have to look for another provider.

I have been seeing Dr. Toledo for years. He has literally been the greatest doctor I have seen in a long time and would HIGHLY recommend this doctor to anyone. He is very smart, hands on, and hilarious. I swear my blood pressure goes down when I enter his office. I highly suggest him as your PCP.

I had a 330 appointment arrived at 300. I wasn't seen till 440. I was getting tired and sleepy. The receptionist told me it was a 30 min delay. However, I met with Dr. Toledo I was like my God he taking forever. Ever the less it was worth the wait he was knowledgeable, he was very attentive. He went through my chart as far back as he could and ask questions about pass and present illnesses. He was very concerned regarding my health. A side note I haven't had a primary care in years do to a issue in doctor rosemens office on prudential drive however now I have a great doctor I can say. So I talk to my husband and told him about the wait n he said you know if a doctor came in and went out that wouldn't be good but if his taking his time with everyone like that then you gone to have a wait. He was albosultely right. Well folks I got a new Primary Care doctor and I like his bedside manners. No more er visits to be fixed.

When a doctor or staff makes a mistake - That doctor will have to accept and fix that mistake. When a Doctor straight up lies about soothing so small. ****Like giving you wrong treatment information*** What happens when its something big? Unfortunately the medical field is lacking true dedicated professionals and this place has people just collecting checks and putting in the C+ effort. Good place to stop for maybe a physical or a rash. If you are chronically ill or have any problems this is not the primary for you. Office manager has no concept of what the medical service industry is. Its hard enough when you are chronically ill. Without the mistakes and time wasting. 35 years of being treated for illness, I have never seen quite a show like this. One popcorn machine short of a full blown circus. I had to let them go you are dismissed. PS: if the doctor has COVID and wont be in for weeks. Maybe have someone pick up the work and cover for them???? Give a call? Not have people come in and be exposed that have immune disorders and explain to them or let them choose to reschedule when the whole office has been exposed? I never got any information from you that when we were in there was Covid exposure. Little info for office manager: You are still in the service industry no matter how much you pretend you are not. You are not above anyone nor should you ever feel you are better than someone because of skin color , gender , sexual orientation, education or financial status. When a patient calls with a problem, learn and solve. Thats how you grow. Thats your job. You dont make excuses and tell patients and or clients they are wrong. You fix the mistake YOU made. Then hope your mistake did not do further damage. Thats called gaslighting. We all Know you made mistakes. I also dont feel that the office manager is allowed to give medical or mental health advice . Im wondering what medical training and what degrees she holds to be giving medical advice or evaluations over the phone??? Wow what a liability that is! Someone may need to look into that. Your mistakes cost time and money. If I could give 0 stars I would. 1 is too many.
