TLDR: The way they treated me, I feel like I would not have the best care if I were to use them. I find it odd that this place has either 1 star horrific experience or 5 star and the person is saying how amazing they are. I waited for hours (10:15 appt, taken to the back 11:45 out at 1:45) to only have X-rays done that I had acquired already from my own dentist and a previous endo (Geric) They will want their own done it was expensive but fine whatever. I asked if I could get the xray amount waived later because I wouldnt be getting their services but they dont do that. I came here because they take my insurance and Geric Endo does not. In the end he cant even fix all of it because of the post on my crown, so Im just going back to Geric for the work. Really dont think a brand new xray and hours long wait warranted this but okay. I didnt like the way they treated me when I said I saw a different oral surgeon and he said to try a less aggressive procedure with the endo. Like I was lying? It was weird. I wanted to be seen today and I asked and the endo says you can be seen today but later today. Or something like maybe today or maybe tomorrow? Yeah I was confused. I wasnt ready to take off a whole day of work and also the answer felt off. He wanted me to call my dentist and make sure they were ready for me to get a crown. Dr McDowell of Ideal Dental was out and again they didnt believe me or something? Sorry they are busy rn. Ive had this issue for a while and Dr McDowell knows I am coming back for the crowns. I can call and get a next day appointment there nbd. He wanted to talk to the actual dentist. The assistant was great but the oral surgeon made her do a lot of the work with explaining the procedure after. Not very cool. Like dude you just said you cant do a large portion of it. I am a really chill person and just want the procedures I need done. I dont care how much it costs I want it done by someone who cares (preferably takes my insurance). The whole experience was chaotic and while I understand wait times due to people needing root canals and other serious services I would have rather cancelled this and been seen at the proper time.
