I would give NO STARS but I had to chose something to be able to type this post. I went in this morning, 2/4/24 approximately 10:00am for several items, Pedigree dog food , light bulbs, body wash, shampoo/conditioner and some medicine. Spent over $50. So, the store is busy with several people in line to check out with only one register open. The other clerk jumped on the other register but card only. Thought I had enough on my card but it went through as partial (I was going to pay cash). So I owed a balance and told her that I had exact change so wouldnt need anything back. She said cant do it sorry. Had to void the whole transaction and assured me money would be immediately back on my card (it was). Finally get to check out at other register-paid cash. Problem-you are NOT ALLOWED TO TAKE THE BUGGY OUT TO YOUR CAR TO PUT YOUR ITEMS UP. No, they want me to make a few trips. Leave my paid for items unattended while I run back and forth. Not going to happen-sorry. I tilted the cart and took it out and the lady kept yelling at me. I kept going and she followed me out to the parking lot. I told her Im not running back and forth. She said this is so people dont steal them. Well, I do get it but still if I am a customer and spend money with your store, I WILL take the cart to my car. This is the most stupidity I have seen with a store. I will never patron a Family Dollar againEVER!

No bags this time, the other time empty shelves, always messy and under stocked as well as something ghetto consistently occurring at this location.
