Thank you for the review. Your vehicle originally came in on Jan 17th with a diagnostic code that indicated a POSSIBLE failure of the oil pressure switch. As you have an extended warranty we are not allowed to do any work on any vehicle to include diagnostics without your permission or the permission of the extended warranty company. The extended warranty company authorized a Level 2 diagnostic which allows us 2 hours of diagnostic time. During the 2 hours we inspected the entire circuit and the switch and found it to be functioning properly. We drove the vehicle 20 miles attempting to duplicate a problem. The check engine light never came back on during the time we had possession of the vehicle. During the diagnostic time we did identify an engine oil leak that we were able to correct without any parts and no additional labor. We are not allowed to change parts on a vehicle that is covered by an extended warranty company without a VERIFIED failure which we didn't have when the vehicle was here on the initial visit. When the vehicle returned this time we were able to identify the failure and report it to the warranty company who authorized the replacement of the failed part. I appreciate the review however I don't believe a 1 star review is appropriate as our hands were tied by the rules the warranty company requires us to follow.
