Caution!!!! Read addendum!!!! Joe McCoy is kind, good, professional, personable individual and a fantastic mechanic. He's not trying to take advantage of his customers. He takes pride in his work. He loves anything to do with cars and fixing automobiles and the like. He's willing to go the distance for his customers. He's done several jobs for me now. Gave me a very fair price and excellent work. I will continue to go to him. I feel as though he's a mechanic that can be trusted. He's just recently added a partner that does detailing and painting and body work. I have not fully tried that partner yet. But we'll see. McCoy's Garage in Jacksonville Florida on Macy Street in Arlington definitely someone you want to do business with. Addendum: In good conscience I must update my review. I've been doing business with Joe McCoy for several years. With great results. Unfortunately he is no longer the owner of this business and is a worker. I took a family member and a friend to him and the results were not good. There is a tremendous lack of communication with the new owner, their time frame of getting the work done is unrealistic. And it can be a very unrofessional environment. The language, oftentimes you drive up and you can smell marijuana and other things. It's just not a setting to make you feel confident in the abilities of the individuals there. While I still believe that Joe McCoy is a fantastic guy, again he is no longer the owner operator of this business so buyers customers beware. As for my husband and I we will not be taking our vehicles back there in that setting.

The mechanics here are very knowledgeable and very honest with their customers.you do not really find that to often these days! I would absolutely recommend them!
