You don't want to live here.....looks nice out the outside but looks can be very deceiving. Paper thin walls, noise all through the night. Drugs you can smell everywhere. Constant closures of the facilities. Management completely full of themselves. Oh and the best part, they tow their residents like crazy, because they can't solve the parking problems that they themselves created....so they just blame their own residents and tow them. You will never be able to have guests over because they will have nowhere to park, unless you want to get your car towed in order for them to stay. Their rental rates are dropping drastically because their occupancy rates are falling, likely a direct result of their addiction to towing their own residents. To top things off, there was a literal homicide here...the security is a complete joke.

Weve enjoyed living at Drift. I give it four stars instead of 5 for a few reasons. The closet space is small. The drawers in the kitchen get jammed. Maintenance fixed it, and it got stuck again. We liked that we chose a unit on the first floor so we would not have carpet. You may have to park farther away from your unit if you arrive later at night. They tow cars without the Drift sticker on them, but not often. The pool was closed in the summer pretty frequently, and they expect no alcohol glasses to be brought into the pool area due to glass damage. The gym is small. Also, if you plan to move to a bigger unit when your lease is up, they charge you an $800 moving fee, which includes nothing. Then you have to pay rent in the new place as well. It would be cheaper to move in as a first-time new resident than to transfer units.
The kitchen, washer/dryer, bathrooms, living room, and fridge are nice.

I recently moved back to Drift, as I have lived here previously for a year. Most complexes do not offer what Drift does for their prices and the office staff isnt as attentive in other places in comparison to Drift. Its close to UNF, Town Center, interstate and has walking trails behind/around the complex. Other residents are friendly & theres a courtesy officer for the complex & its gated, so its safe. All the negative reviews from prior residents are people who didnt follow community guidelines. This apartment complex is a good place to live.

I have lived here for over 2 years and once management from Drift took over this property, it has been a disaster. If you want to get towed or not be able to have company over, this is the place for you! They treat the residents as if we are all children yet dont do anything about the reek of weed (I have pulmonary complications so smelling something as feral as weed is not good for my health AND its supposedly a smoke-free property). The only thing nice about this place are the floor plans. I have had multiple issues with my unit over the years and maintenance has yet to handle it properly. I am never told when maintenance enters my unit (as a woman living alone, this is a major safety concern). There is a strange lady who doesnt live here that keeps going in and out of the property and yet management boasts about how safe it is here? THERES NO PARKING!!! Management is horrible and the property is not well kept. I highly suggest looking for a different apartment because for the price and stress, this place is not worth it at all.
