Nicely renovated parking area, lighting and paint. Right across from elementary school.
Maintenance is not a priority for the tenants. My friend has waited over a month for AC repair and had half of his bathroom ceiling fall because of leak upstairs which also took over a month.

Worst management ever. People in the office don't to how to talk to the tenants, very rude. Every week there is some noise of gun fire in these apartment complex. Not safe to walk. Maintenance is worst never address your issue in timely manner. Every year their is a new management, new changes, new charges. I have been there since 4 years this year management is worsttttttttttttttttttt.

They were okay after the managment switch, they fixed the trash issue. Then things went downhill. They raised rent (1 bedroom cost $1000+ with water and sewage attached) and they added utilities to it. This dows not include lights. The company that the utility billing goes through, is a scam. They have a D- rating with the BBB. Same comments from every person. They randomly charge what they want. I pay almost an additional 70 now tagged onto my rent that manages to increase each month.
Update: Went out of town for two whole weeks. Received my bill and it was the same utility amount from the previous month. How is that possible? We even cut the water off running through the toilet to avoid and possible leaks. Definitely a scam. If anyone knows how I can challenge this, please let me know.

Office staff is too trifling to ensure that important notices are delivered to every door like a normal apartment complex whether they're shutting the water off for hours or it's a fire extinguisher inspection, smoke alarm inspection or an electrical inspection. Nothing. No communication. If you're a single woman you can probably expect two strange men to show up to your door asking to be let in at some point for one reason or another. Be safe. They recently stopped accepting money orders and checks for rent and again didn't communicate anything to residents just so they could charge late fees. You now have to go to Wal Mart or pay online and pay ridiculous fees in addition to the ridiculous amount of rent they charge in a run down area. Keep all your receipts even after you move out. These people are shady , underhanded, untrustworthy, nasty liars. I wouldn't put it past them to say you owe them something after you move out. All they care about is getting as much money out of you as they can any way they can that's why every month you see U Hauls loading up and moving out. There's roach infestations, old plumbing that backs up with raw sewage, mold, old air conditioner units that break down in the dead of summer, laundry rooms with broke down machines, a pool you can never get in because the water is always green and trash all around the dumpsters. Don't bother calling emergency maintenance at night because no one is coming to fix your emergency until the next day. Don't move here. You can do better. Keep looking.

I recently moved in to the Patriot Plaza Apartments and found my experience to be great. The transition and move went very smoothly. After moving in and working all week I went to the office on a Friday at 5:00 pm to get my mail box key. I realized just as the office staff did that it was highly unlikely that I would be able to pick-up the key until Monday. The staff was very polite and very professional in advising that they would see what they could do to have a mailbox key made for me before they close at 5:30pm. The apartment manager, the assistant manager, and the maintenance crew went above service level and made me a key in 20 minutes. There is only one thing to call this type of service "Exceptional".
