Noel Evelyn

Ive been seeing Evelyn for 12+ years, but today will be the last day. I called to make my annual appointment and I spoke to the receptionist and asked how much will Evelyn be charging for my taxes? Because I cant pay $200. My taxes are straight forward and simple and Im in and out within 15 minutes. At my appointment, Evelyn said she didnt appreciate me asking how much she was going to charge me and she said I work 140 hours a week and you dont know everything I have to go through to get this done. First off, as a client, I have the divine right to ask how much I will be charged before I agree to a service. Second, a business has the obligation to disclose those fees before I agree to accept the service or not. Lastly, its completely unprofessional how she spoke to me and I dont need to know how many hours a week she works - that is none of my business and not my concern. Clearly, she is over worked if shes talking to me (and possibly other clients this way) so she wont miss my business.
