The experience was truly amazing I loved how you can walk outside and walk to the pool and watch the sunset every night. And beautiful setting all around

Pool is always dirty, ants everywhere, internet is REALLY spotty, trash in the bushes, bird dropping all over the pool and the chairs are never straightened, the resort part is really beautiful and kept up so I recommend staying there but the villas are forgotten and not kept up VERY disappointing.

Context: We stayed 2 nights on the bay side, middle of the week, adults only, out most of the day. Plus: the rooms are beautiful, well decorated and reasonably set to accommodate a family staying in the townhouses. The location is great, the pool side isn't huge but enough, with a great view to look at the sunset. Cons: the room we stayed in (104) SMELLED TERRIBLY. opening the door to enter opened us to a stale (moldy? water damage?) smell. The rug and couch were infested with small bugs that bit the ankles and legs of my in-laws when they sat in it. The fan in one of the bedrooms was not working. The second bedroom had its closet open to accommodate a TV, and everything was cramped too close to the window + window treatment, i could hardly reach my side of the bed. The bedsheet felt off: I won't go as far as to say they were slept in, but they didn't seem freshly put on the bed. Maybe they need replaced entirely The fan, bugs and the smell were brought up on day 1 of our stay but were not addressed: my husband had to reset the fans and remotes when we came back at night on day 2 so that his parents could sleep in a ventilated room. The lady that was at the desk didn't seem to care and didn't offer an apology/commercial gesture when we checked out. She argued with a worker that offered to let us keep the badges we had a s a souvenir. For the price, this place completely missed the mark. Rooms: If you can, do not stay in room 104 (smell, bugs, needs maintenance)

Allow me to share the harrowing experience and warn you from making our mistake. Firstly - they renovated the units from 2 showers per villa to 1. This means that 4 people shared one bathroom the whole weekend. Secondly - part of these renovations include removing space from the rooms such that the only way into bed is to climb like a child. Thirdly - part of these renovations include a botched fire alarm installation. This is where things really get interesting, as the alarm first went off at 7am with no cause, and has continued to go off as they perform maintenance. Fourth - any critique or question is met by a combative staff who will push the Buck and deny responsibility for any concern raised. The unprofessional team and poorly thought out changes that they have made to the buildings (and not disclosed to those with existing reservations) is a pariah of a leadership team that does not care and accommodations that will leave you and your fellow travelers wanting for more.
