I didn't camp, but I fished around the edges in a boat. It seems nice? Great place to hang out.

remote camping - by boat. its been a few years since I was there. I read they have a port-a-let instead of the wood one. there was space for 2 camps, and you must check in at the visitors station and get a permit. -no joke. the permit is free but the park rangers will kick you out and fine you if you don't have the permit. -you can get on in the keys or flamingo. lots of small snappers, and a few nice ones. some cuda and sharks too, great fishing spot. very remote, primitive camping. and there is nothing to buy here. -no burgers, nothing. bring it in, take it back. no trash disposal either.
