Found John and his company based on a youtube video where he was fixing the problem I had. Showed the video a month later after me first seeing it to a friend who says why don't you call that guy. Well turns out John and his company service South Florida so I gave him a call. We made an appointment that worked for both of us and he came.out and fixed my issue of syncronizing the throttle bodies on a Yamaha f150 4 stroke. I had a great experience with John. He knows what he is doing and his rates are fair (don't be nervous if he asks you to pay one hour of his time upfront like I was, John shows up when he says he will).

John was referred to me for my pre owned Boat to get surveyed and engines surveyed. Definitely very experienced with a lot of knowledge and great at detailed explaining throughout the surveying process. He has high standards and professionalism.His great knowledge and process through inspection is what helped me decide on my boat purchase. I highly recommend his services when purchasing a boat or needing an inspection performed. Excellent overall!!

John did an engine survey for me. He is extremely professional, detail oriented, and easy to work with. This was the 3rd survey that I've had done in the last 10 years and John's analysis and report was by far the best. He also made himself available after the survey to answer any questions that I had. I would highly recommend John and will definitely use his services again.

Captain John Bannister is by far the most thorough and professional marine surveyor I have come across. He recently performed a survey on a vessel I was planning to purchase and he discovered significant structural damage which had been hidden and/or obscured by a previous owner and would have been missed by most surveyors. He communicated with me during the survey and made sure I understood the major findings while we were still on the vessel. I ended up walking away from the vessel and avoided a nightmare that I would have gotten stuck with but for Captain B. His law enforcement background comes in handy as he is not intimidated nor thrown off the scent by brokers or owners who will do everything possible to misdirect a surveyor or intimidate him into backing down or moving on when he is on to something.
