Mike and his team just completed my roof last week. And I couldn't be happier. I went from a 25 year old tile roof to shingles. They tore the roof off and made my house water safe in ONE DAY! Reinstall started the next day and they were done on day 4. Inspection was done on day 5. I could not believe that in 5 days the whole thing was done... They also handled the permit, which in Wellington took less than a week. All in all Mike and his team were timely with everything, affordable, professional, and left my property like they found it. I don't often write reviews, but I had a WOW experience and wanted to share so others can benefit. I had Mike (owner) his company Pinewood Construction..... Install a architectural grade asphalt shingle roof.I had a barrel tile roof previously installed. This crew who were courteous & professional arrived early and came prepared and before you knew the whole roof was stripped of barrel tile and roof was prepped to be dried in .In my neighborhood, the avg time to strip barrel tile roofs and dry them in is 3-4 days.Not with Pinewood, they stripped , prepped the roof, replaced wood that was needed and had my roof dried in and ready for inspection on the 1st day..Yep you heard me right 1 day and they had dried in, cleaned site, and we were ready for the inspector to inspect it and it passed on the 1st time and we were cleared for stage 2 which would be installing the shingles and sealing the edges and last but not least installed ridge vent .. that part of the process was done by these men and it was done with great pride and expertise. After 6-7 days (and that was waiting for inspector) the roof was done , passed with flying colors 1st time as well. My site was extremely clean and I found only 1 nail (my neighbors are still finding nails from their contractors after 6 mos .) They even went around where some Bull (tar) was noticeable & went around with mineral spirits and cleaned it up. (who does that ???? ). My HOA was duly impressed with this contractor as he had the whole package ready for HOA SOPs with insurance, permits samples..etc. They said they never had a contractor come in so squared away. if your looking for quality work, done with pride, and affordable, Pinewood Construction Co. is a reliable quality construction company that I would not hesitate to hire for any home construction projects !!
