I spent four or five hours here with my boat load of small kids one afternoon. We brought plenty of snacks and pulled the dinghy up on the shore even though it has a small pier. There were two picnic pavilions. One with two concrete tables and one with one. The short boardwalk to the pavilions from the pier is in good repair and by my estimation very much wheelchair accessible if theres a means to get the wheelchair onto the pier. There is also an area with what I am sure must be an unsanctioned fire pit and stumps arranged to sit on. Sadly someone left a tent, air mattress and some tarps set up (now garbage) and two bags of trash. I did not see any dead bodies but I definitely thought to poke around just to be sure... That aside it was a great trip! Theres some brushy herd paths around the undergrowth, we walked probably less than 300 meters in all. We saw mangroves, pine, Brazilian pepper, a golden silk orb weaver, raccoon tracks, and many lizards and birds. We would come back again, after a while. Not an every weekend thing. But nice enough!
