You would not expect the hotel to be as nice as it is. I t IS an extended stay hotel! I say that SOLEY because that means you MUST book at LEAST a two night stay minimum. Just want to make sure anyone looking for just one night stays, are aware of this. Also, no; there is no pool, no playground, nothing like that here (not a "Con" to me personally). There is also no "on site" restaurant. There are full size fridges, microwaves, and even a 2-burner table-top burners/hot plate/"built-in counter stove" (admittedly, not entirely sure of the proper name. No ovens. They do NOT supply you anything like: pots, pans, bowls, plates, utensils, etc. There is NO breakfast, either. There is both a Waffle House and a Denny's virtually next door, though. Security is taken more seriously here than I'm other "higher - rated" hotels I've stayed at in the past. That's not in a bad way, but in a "I never felt unsafe or in danger at any time, place, inside, outside, etc. kind of way. In fact, there's one of those "it's so small, if you didn't look for it, you may miss it" sense of community in this hotel the likes of which I've never seen elsewhere. Yes, there are some people who this is their primary residence. Yes, there are also those "weekend get-a-way-erst" here too. Like, I said before, it's very different from any other "sense of community" you'd feel in a neighborhood, but not in a bad way. If anything, GREATLY contributed to the overall quality of my two-week stay. I felt like I was just part of a micro-community. It was nice. The general manager, (Nishant, I believe) was always incredible and willing to go out of his way to help with anything. The rest of the staff were all great too. This place felt to me like one of those TV "mock-umentaries" from the late 2000s, come to life (like The Office or Parks & Rec). This place is not perfect, no place is (could have done without the big, loud trucks at night and the dump trucks/construction going on during the day but wasn't too bad). Overall, what you're paying versus what you get in exchange; it's a no brainer. Granted, you do get some things that aren't tangible, but out weigh their value AND compared to what you'd get at any other hotel/motel. I would GLADLY stay here again and would recommend it to anyone; except those with a larger family (the beds are ALL Queens, I believe the only difference is one or two beds per room), those looking for a "resort-style" hotel (ie - pools, playgrounds, etc), or those that might like a little more room in their rooms. I was fine in a single Queen, but I was also by myself. Anyway, In conclusion, I'd say overall 4.5/5 if I could! Rooms: Rooms do seem all seem to be the same/similar. A desk, chair, TV, only two clothing/item drawers but six "cubbies", one end table (not two, so if a couple), a more comfortable chair, kitchenette (no oven), and a bathroom. Food & drinks: Two vending machines on property (both by elevator). One is drinks, the other snacks. Surprisingly diverse and pricing is reasonable. Walmart (Hudson/Beacon Wooda location is just kiddie-corner across 19. Next door is: Dollar Tree, a Chinese restaurant, Waffle House, Denny's, Wendy's, McDonald's and the rest of the shopping, eating, dining, etc located around US 19 and SR 52.
