Got in late for tent camping and the restaurant was still open. We sat at the bar offered some drinks and food. The bar tender (Mikey Awesome) was friendly and great company after our long drive. The food was good as well. They serve breakfast as well. Definitely worth the visit

The service is bad, the food average and the tastes of Pepsi... I'm not saying that.

Great place to stay! Truly a gem. The location couldnt be better. Being so far from the entrance and at a dead end, each night this region empties out and quiets down. It is so still and beautiful. It also allows you to enjoy the marina, which is an amazing place and one that we loved spending time and watching nature. The rooms are updated, nice, and have beautiful views of Florida Bay. The beds are comfortable, even the pull out couch was pretty nice. Only thing I would say is that the walls are a bit thin, but they make note of that in the rooms explaining it is due to the fact that the rooms are made from old shipping crates. They also provide ear plugs, which helped a ton. We brought along a couple white noise machines which helped also. Parking is super easy. Views from the balconies are fantastic. The restaurant is solid, lots of good choices, definitely one of the better options weve had in the national parks. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are available as is a little bar. Good options for us with a nut allergy in the family also. Staff was all very nice throughout our stay. Rooms: Rooms are updated and nice. Walls are thin, but they actually tell you that and explain its due to the rooms being made of old shipping containers and provide ear plugs. Comfortable beds. Nearby activities: Visitors center and marina in walking distance. Lots of great activities at the marina including boat tours, boat/kayak/canoe rentals. Great access to the marina for boat launching. Lots of amazing wildlife around. Safety: No safety concerns what so ever. Beautiful place. Walkability: Restaurant is on site, so thats nice. Property backs up against a trail, so easy to jump on that. Short walk to the visitors center and marina. Food & drinks: Food is solid, nothing fancy, but cant expect that at a national park lodge. Good variability of options. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner available as is a small bar. Prices are reasonable.
