Muhammad Kashif Nawaz, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

I have nothing but great things to say about Dr. Nawaz as a psychiatrist during our sessions. HOWEVER, I am unable to contact him outside of them. His staff are gatekeepers that say that they sent him a message and days go by without any kind of response. Forget about refills without seeing him first. I had seen him 29 days ago and his office staff just kept saying that they could schedule a new visit with him instead of sending a refill to the pharmacy. I am very hesitant to believe that he IS getting the messages. He is a kind physician which makes me doubt that the hostility comes from him. If I was able to contact him in between sessions I would give it 5 stars. A psychiatrist being accessible is a huge part of the treatment. But having to pay $75 every time I have a question is ridiculous especially when it hasn?t been a month since my last session.

Dr. Nowaz is truly the best psychiatrist I have ever had. I only had to change offices because I moved out of state recently and was very upset about that LOL. This man actually listens he cares he goes beyond to make sure his patients are doing okay. I am 36 years old and have been seeing psych doctors since I was 16 and I will genuinely say dr nowaz is THE BEST doc I've ever seen out of all doctors in general lol.. thank you so much DOC for everything you have done for me these past bunch of years lol!!!

I have been seeing Dr. Nawaz for the past 6 months for my ADHD treament and he has been absolutely amazing. Past psychiatrists have misdiagnosed me with depression and anxiety while Dr. Nawaz was able to pinpoint my diagnosis immediately based off my symptoms. He is extremely knowledgeable and takes the time to answer any questions I have.

This is my first time having a session with this man. I find him very intelligent and caring. He goes by the book and also his inner gut feeling thats what I like. You never will go wrong by listening to that inner voice. I respect his knowledge and I like his style. I wish my mom was alive she would have loved to meet him. Thankyou very much.

I just had to worst experience with this office! I called on Monday (early afternoon) and left a message requesting a refill on a medication. Today is Wednesday and still no call. I called again this morning and left another message this time for a call back. The receptionist just returned my call and told me she sent the request to the doctor on Monday. I said ok so when will this be done? She said when he checks his messages. I said and when will that be she says I dont know! I was like ok well is he in the office today she said no. I said how about tomorrow, she said no. I told her, you know what, ITS A GOOD THING IM NOT FEELING SOME KIND OF WAY, YOU ALL WOULDNT EVEN KNOW IT! Absolutely TERRIBLE patient care! I work in customer service and am disgusted. I said to her, do you not think maybe the receptionists should at the very least CALL the patient to let them know the doctor is out of the office for the week so at least you dont feel ignored in a mental health office! The only good thing in that office is Dr. Nawaz! He is one of a kind! If not for him I wouldnt bother going again. My hope is they see this post and make some changes to their customer service, its sooo important in the medical/mental health patients!
