Im writing on behalf of my 88 year old aunt who was at Waterford for about 6 weeks after suffering a fall at Hialeah Hospital. As her caretaker I have to say all the staff is caring, loving and always addressed her needs. The room was clean and the food was pretty decent. The therapy was consistent and on target and she made a lot of progress. She was barely able to stand up and she left walking. Communication with the nursing staff was good. The biggest problem we encountered was the discharge. The social worker did not return phone calls, the attention to discharge was a disaster. The home health services were not put in place and almost a week later my aunt has not received home health services because this was not properly scheduled. Discharge is extremely important to decrease the risk of relapse or falls at home. If it wasnt for this critical piece of the care of an elderly I would have given the facility a 5.

I am super grateful for my husband's attention since he arrived here. Without a doubt, the ground staff will be here again, without a doubt, the best assistants and nurses on the floor, without a doubt.

Super grateful to the ground floor staff, their attention is the best, without a doubt I would come back here and highlight the treatment of the nurse Ana and Mara, excellent people and as a professional, the best without leaving aside the service of the assistants Yan Luis.
