This place is horrible. The Drs never communicate with the family. The staff is rude. The seniors are not treated well at all. Please keep your loved one away from this place!

The staff was great but I believe that patients should have smoking hours allowed. That will really help with their stress level. They took that service out because of COVID but its ridiculous because patients are all together anyways in the room they have designated for breakfast lunch and dinner all without masks. So I dont see why they shouldnt be allowed to go outside for fifteen minutes three times a day to smoke. I know it really would have helped me while I was there!

They misspelled my name, never fixed it and then asked for my Birth Certificate. Then, They had me and another patient wait over 5 minutes in front of them; I was just waiting to ask for a towel, soap, toothbrush, and toothpaste. No attention to the patients. 2 days of watching TV and eating without evaluations. The entire facility was cold. If you tell them your situation they tell you to basically get over it, then, try to put you on pills. I am extremely disappointed. I was taught to pay attention to the statement given and build off that. In the United States it is innocent first and this situation seemed very hostile. They seemed scared of you, like if we could pass through the glass or something. We simply had needs that they were not adhering to quick enough. Wether involuntary or voluntary, we both are there to get respect. Not everyone is there because of actual reasons, and the facility does not foster a belief that leads to healthy conversation between the people and doctor. There have been misdiagnosed patients in the past and it seems that it is the doctors who choose to not believe the patients. This is was leads to death. Thank you for yours and my time there. I did enjoy some of the freedoms I had on my own. They prescribed me pills without obliging to my rights. The Florida Abuse Hotline number is a waste. 1 Hour wait in a center were the doctor hates formal talk. Also, as an American on American soil, apparently, protesting is illegal or, at-least, so dangerous it requires a needle. I had to do two prayers before to show I was just being peaceful.
