Umami Asian street food

This place is awesome! I randomly stopped by while working in town, and I'm so glad I did. The food was delicious. I usually go for curries at Thai places, but I really wanted to try the crispy spicy chicken because the pictures made it look so good. I wasn't disappointed at all. I've never really had a dish quite like that. It was great! The photos were not deceiving. Big portion and very tasty. I also tried the curry samosas and some kind of lychee juice, which were both lovely. I don't think I will like regular samosas as much anymore now that I've tried a curry samosa. I can't end the review without mentioning the owner. She's one of the friendliest sweethearts you will ever meet and an absolutely fantastic chef. You can tell she really knows and loves her craft. I 100% recommend giving this place a try. I plan to come back the next time I get a chance. I'm sure every single thing she makes is just as amazing as what I ordered, and I can't wait to try more of her cooking!

Truly authentic! Best Pad Thai ever! Everything is made fresh, with amazing flavors! The homemade sauces are out of this world! And the Crab Rangoon, Summer Rolls, and Steamed Dumplings are amazing! Also, the Crispy Spicy Chicken was incredible! The seasoning was fantastic! This food makes you smile! Everything is truly made with love and the owner does it all! She is absolutely wonderful! She's super friendly, an amazing chef, and truly loves what she does. It shows with her amazing food! We highly recommend Umami Asian Street Food! You will not be disappointed!

Need to update the hours on Google. I drove there as it says it was open, only to find out that they are closed and might no longer be at this location. Also, they don't pick up the phone as I tried to call multiple times just to make sure and no one picked up. UPDATED: I changed the review from 3 to 4 stars due to the customer service I received with my initial dissatisfaction although I was traveling and wasnt able to go back and try the food so I cannot fully give 5 stars.

Craving Authentic Thai Cuisine: A Disappointing Experience As one who spent time living in Thailand, I couldn't contain my excitement when I heard about a local spot serving Thai food. My taste buds were tingling at the prospect of tasting the authentic flavors I had encountered in Thailand. I was particularly eager to try the Drunken Noodles on the menu, hoping they would transport me back to my Thai adventures. Unfortunately, my hopes were crushed when my son ordered and after a bit of a wait, was told that the wait would be an hour. No noodles for us! It would have been helpful if we were informed beforehand or if there was a sign indicating the wait time. Good customer service requires clear communication to manage customers' expectations. It's even more important how you recover from that bad experience!
