        Purchased 30 pallets of Zoysia that had army worms. The sod was sprayed by a reputable exterminating company that confirmed the army worms. Boyd's would not compensate me for the cost of the spraying which was a minimal cost compared to the cost of the sod.

        I have contacted Boyd Sod Farms to learn about what sod would work in my lawn and to check prices due to some pretty steep quotes elsewhere. I bought 4 pallets from them two years ago. The delivery driver was friendly and knowledgable, even making suggestions. He placed the pallets where it would help me and the sod in case I gave out before the pallets were empty. I did what he told me to do and the sod looks great. Two weeks ago I called asking about Empire Zoysia vs St. Augustine to add to old flower bed sites. It was suggested to try El Toro Zoysia based on the locations in my yard and the durability needs for occassional vehicle parking. I have had a great experience with their staff and they have proven to be honest with my best interests in mind. I will be a repeat customer in a few weeks.
