image My wife and I were looking to buy a home for the first time and we had NO IDEA where to begin. Michelle is the most knowledgeable and highly regarded agent in our area (Downtown Gainesville; Duckpond and B&B districts). She patiently coached us through every aspect of the home-buying process, giving us the confidence we needed to navigate the market and find our home. When it came time to negotiate and buy, Michelle supported and defended us at every step. Afterword, she even followed through by helping us decide repairs/reno's and interact with contractors. She's a delight to work with, and we're hugely grateful for all the time she gave us!

image Got rented a house that is super old for 2400, out dated, bugs freely entering the house, washing machine doesn't wash 100%, microwave trips the breaker, garage is infested with spiders, the doors to the bathroom don't close, the thermostat to the air conditioner is in the kitchen so every time the stove is on the air conditioner turns on, no exhaust in the kitchen for heat and smell, I sent the rent in the mail and just because it didn't reach them, they want to try and charge me 100 dollars, as if the 2400 dollars isn't enough for such a poorly conditioned house. Harassing me for rent and implying I can't pay it. I'm very upset and won't pay any late fee if it isn't my fault. The fact that she even tried to take my money for something that is out of my hands says alot of the type of person one would have to deal with. I'd very much like to move out of this house I'm sure they would love to try and take my deposit for wanting to move. Let's see how it goes.
Like I thought, my deposit was used to fix the old house, all the blinds in the house were old, so she decided to use my money/deposit to buy blinds. Not one room was painted before I moved in, she also thought hey, I can use more of his deposit to paint amongst other things, 2400 dollars stolen from me to make repairs on a house that is labeled historic. I am not going to let this go. To court I have to go to teach this lady a lesson to not steal from others.
