I called for an estimate. It is $85 per hour, which is reasonable for when work is being done. However, they also charge $85 per hour when workers are out riding to get needed parts and back. Or taking a break. Doesn't seem very oriented to customer satisfaction. Well, if ("most") everything is on the truck and there is never any need to go out for parts, then why is the customer being charged $85/hour if that happens? Not very attuned to achieving customer satisfaction. BTW, I hung up because I was agast at hearing this policy. Thanks for tipping me off to the poor customer service.

We had this company install a new toilet. That cost 470 dollars. After that, there was still a small leak, so they had to come back a week later. Then then installed a new valve. That took ten minutes, and cost 170 dollars, because of 85 dollars for labor, and a 55-dollar service fee. I am sure that this can be somehow explained as company policy, but if you have to come back a week after original installation, then it sounds a bit excessive, doesn't it? As a response to the owner: It is not reasonable to say that while I was willing to pay 470 dollars for a new toilet, I was not willing to pay 23 dollars for a new valve during the first visit. Pros: Available when no one else was. Always showed up when said they would. Passed Inspection. Friendly. Cons: Communication was frustrating and a gas leak is why we cannot rate higher. We asked for 3/4 inch gas pipe and he installed a 1/2 inch anyway. One day I found half a dozen dead roaches splattered on the kitchen floor. I guess he and his assistant stepped on them after the bugs climbed in through the open waste water pipe and left them there for us to find. The drainage hose for the dishwasher was installed through a hole much too low in the base cabinet instead of up high in the base cabinet and the inspector would not approve it until my husband fixed it. The scariest experience of all was the gas leak after installing our new gas stove. We smelled a gas leak in our kitchen at 3 am when my son and daughter-in-law drove into town unexpectedly and walked in and woke us up and asked us why the house smelled like gas! I can only pray there are no other pipe leaks from the new installation. Services: Faucet installation, Garbage disposal installation

I have called Fletcher Plumbing to do a few plumbing installations/replacements at my house and each time the job was done professionally and at a reasonable price. Kyle does very good work! The price quotes were accurate and he arrived within the time window promised. I highly recommend them. Services: Shower installation, Faucet installation, Water heater installation

Called in for a bad water heater. was told they'd send a service guy (did not mention price so I assumed for a free estimate like every other company that came after them) while the guy was here he told us what we already knew (we need a new tank) then offered to plug the water feed so we could use other devices (again not mentioning a price or contract) I verbally agreed thinking he was plugging my pipe to guarantee we use his company for the tank replacement service (which i could've done in 2 minutes for $3) I was wrong after plugging my pipe he proceeds to say that the total is $275. I paid it but it is extremely unprofessional to charge someone without first letting the client know that they are being charged and how much, or without working out a signed agreement. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL
