image UF health is an absolute joke.. not only does it takes month to get an appointment but they will do absolutely nothing for you. I went for a wellwoman yearly appointment after moving to Gainesville and because I brought up some concerns about my current BC they billed my insurance for "chronic illness"??? When checking out the receptionist said I didn't owe anything just to get billed 2 months later due to UF changing the visit so my jnsurance wouldn't cover. Reached out to them and they refuse to help. It was a 40 min visit of absolutely nothing, the gynecologist wasn't interested in helping me and made me feel like an idiot for being there instead.. safe to say I won't be returning ever.

image Ive been to many departments at UF and the womens center at med plaza has been the worst experience other than the main ER. Springhill was a little better but they have also dropped the ball so many times. Doctors are always late to appointment but they want you checked in 15 minutes early? You need to be proactive to get referral appointments scheduled as they rarely call to do this though they say they will. Authorization paperwork for my insurance was not sent in and resulted in me getting insane bills from Quest. Trying to get help was like pulling teeth. Waiting room is small and cramped especially since a lot of patients come with small children. I dread coming here. Im 20 weeks and am contemplating finding somewhere else to go.

image UF Health is really going downhill. Had to wait months for my first appt as a new patient - fine, that's expected. Have sat in the waiting room over an hour for a standard appt AND for a blood draw, which they insist on doing in-house. Now they have such high turnover (Gee, I wonder why that could be ) that they refuse to schedule annual exams for existing patients! Whoever heard of making your existing patients wait indefinitely?! So unprofessional.

image You dont get an appoint for 3 weeks. They can't be seriously that busy to provide a care and doctor when its needed. So I have to pre-plan my ailment weeks in advance? What a joke.
