excellent knowledge and service. Deep tissue massage was extremely thorough. Not always pleasant, but felt great afterwards. Highly recommend if you have any soreness or muscle/tendon issues.

Dan is incredibly knowledgeable re: techniques to help folks recover from muscular injury and improve flexibility for those with chronic conditions. I have a fused lower back, fused neck and two artificial knees and his work keeps me mobile. He's GREAT!

Dan is like the unicorn of deep tissue massage! It doesn't always feel amazing in the moment... sometimes I'm swearing like a sailor, but I always feel better afterwards and then the next time, that problem area is less of a problem. One time I was having knee pain that I thought was either osteoarthritis or a small tear in my meniscus, but Dan worked his magic and by the next day I realized my knee wasn't hurting any more at all!! I've definitely learned that sometimes muscle tightness in one area can cause pain somewhere else, and Dan will take the time to get to know your problem areas (or find them for you if you're as oblivious as I am). He also likes to make sure you're comfortable, asks about music preferences, and can easily shift course if you need more or less pressure. He's actually the first male masseuse I've been to - in the past I've always opted for women because I get self-conscious, but I'm comfortable with Dan and I was just as comfortable when I was 80 pounds heavier. :)
