They cancelled my booking two weeks before my trip, which was during a large music festival. The only contact was with the website I used to book the room asking me to confirm cancelation. I would highly recommend nobody book a room here because you might find yourself without a place to sleep.

This was an extremely frustrating experience to say the least! We booked this hotel way in advance of Fall Family weekend at the University of Florida. 10 days before we were to arrive, I received an email that they were unable to confirm my reservation which was not the case, as I forwarded to them the confirmation. Stated in the email, they wanted to relocate us to another hotel. Upon immediately calling the other hotel, there were no rooms available. Then Stayable Select just cancelled my booking and I was out of luck. I am forever grateful to Chase travel credit card, as they took over trying to find out what was going on. After several hours of Chase and Stayable Select going back and forth, Chase informed me that they were told it was due to construction. Fortunately, Chase booked me with another hotel that was significantly more expensive as that was all that was available due to the weekend event - at no extra cost to me. I would not recommend anyone staying at this hotel, as they lied about my confirmation and then just cancelled it. I am sure they could get a lot more money for the room now, since it was so close to the event.

Stayed on 31 July 2023: DO NOT STAY!!! I cannot leave ZERO stars, but that's what this place rates. I wish I had read ALL of the negative reviews prior to booking, because they are in fact ACCURATE. I stayed ONE night and could not sleep because I coughed the whole time due to the massive amounts of BLACK MOLD throughout the room. I left the next day and informed the front office I would not stay another minute, and they said they would give me a refund. 5 days later, they're denying the refund. I should have known when they have a paper printed "office sign" that it was going to be a shady stay, but then the office hours of 4-6pm was an even bigger indicator. Took 30 minutes each time during those hours to get a hold of someone to check-in and to leave entirely. The entire place is a cesspool of mold rotting from the inside out. Not worth the health risk to you or your family to save $15 in Gainesville. This hotel should NOT be in business!! Pics= black mold in AC unit spewing spores throughout the room. Algae/mold on patio covered in inches of water. Rust on the bed lamps due to the massive moisture in the room. Black mold along the entire inside door frame seam. BLOOD stain on the curtains, yes blood.

UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE JUST DON'T DO IT. I JUST RECEIVED A PHONE CALL SAYING THAT THE PLACE MUST BE VACATED BY WEDNESDAY THE 19TH. THEY HAVE BEEN ORDERED FOR AN IMMEDIATE SHUTDOWN FOR RENOVATION. Some residents removed from the 1000 billion to 2000 building, only to find out a couple of days later, add a2 had to move out extremely suddenly. Several people had been forced back into homelessness without notice. I'm not sure I can legally say much at this point. But for god sakes please do your own homework before you decide. In the photos, one picture is of last night October 5th, and I dug the video and other photo from a folder from August 15th. At some point they did get it cleared up, but it only lasted four days before it turned again. But what I absolutely can in fact do is share advice Ive learned from personal experiences traveling all through the country at various different times of my life for various different reasons. For one, get absolutely everything discussed either in writing or better. If voice recording, by law, you are required to inform the other party, and all other parties, that their voice is in fact being recorded PRIOR to doing so. Other exceptions to the law may be made when in necessity of protecting oneself during and unexpected, I repeat UNEXPECTED, situation. It is not admissible in a court of law for a planned recording of any type to be performed in secrecy. It is a violation of privacy. Demand for the full disclosure of any known hazards by the property or development. This includes everything from faulty AC outlets, to faulty air conditioners, to know any fungal, bacterial, or mold growth. Before asking this question, also research the legalities and the necessities of a property or development disclosing this information. In many cases, not only do samples have to be collected, but must be verified by a known scientific and technical research center acceptable by the local county, state, and/or federal government. In other words, unless it has absolutely and undeniably been verified by the governing inspection agency and coding institution, it is not absolutely required by law for any development to disclose that mold may or may not be present. On a personal on note, I have recently heard a rumor. This rumor, I have not properly researched, nor have asked further questions to any others. I've already made my own assumptions: it may or may not be criminally illegal to state the words black mold in reference to an establishment unless it has been scientifically identified as such. Wow! That sounds like a law that would have been created by insurance companies, doesn't it? Fun ENTIRELY UNRELATED Scientific Facts: Innuendos can be found in all things spoken or written. For Instance: All matter is nothing more than various forms of energy which have been interrupted and transmuted. Atoms are comprised from three different types of nano-scopic particles. You have protons and neutrons bundled together in a teeny tiny nucleus and they are constantly orbited and surrounded by their perspective electrons. These electrons are pushed out and away from the nucleus by an invisible quantum energy. None of this is what you can see. Atoms comprise molecules, and molecules comprise into various size. Even with extremely accurate technical machinery less than one half of a single percent of the size of any atom can be visually verified; including iron, lead, and gold. So truly, you never get to see even a portion of what truly is. According to the national nuclear security association: The entire rainbow of radiation observable to the human eye only makes out a tiny portion of the electromagnetic spectrum about 0.0035 percent. This range of wavelengths is known as visible light .. Isn't that interesting? Less than half of1/ 100th of a single percent of everything that could be visible to you by reference of the law of existence and light is ACTUALLY PERMITTED for you to see with your eyes. Noteworthy details: UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE JUST DON'T DO IT. I JUST RECEIVED A PHONE CALL SAYING THAT THE PLACE MUST BE VACATED BY WEDNESDAY THE 19TH. THEY HAVE BEEN ORDERED FOR AN IMMEDIATE SHUTDOWN FOR RENOVATION I can personally attest the place is under brand new management. A true problem fixer (as of yesterday, who knows about tomorrow.) But whatever they tell you whether you're a guest or an employee(especially), make sure you get everything written on paper and signed, or use the voice recorder on your phone like I learned I need to. Plausible deniability apparently is definitely a thing. When checking into a room, please take a look underneath of the bathroom sink. Find out if you have one of these ultra-soft, ultra-unreliable curved fixtures underneath of your sink. Although they are designed to fit virtually universally, they have a habit of pinching just as shown in the photo. Thus, preventing a proper flow of your waste water. The pool, since June 19th til today, Oct 6 has had an approximate combined total of 3 usable weeks. Other than that, it has been green and unsafe. As of today's current date it has already been closed by the health department due to unsafe and unhealthy conditions. This pool closure has been deemed to be indefinitely until a new pool pump has been installed. The majority of accurate descriptions of this place will only be found on their own personal website. Some third party booking websites, I myself have noticed, still list about the restaurant and ballroom and a few other things that have been closed down for a while. This is a MINIMUM service hospitality establishment. This is the reason for the low cost. A few other locations are even worse than this, at the standard basic $79.99 per night. Also, please note to everyone, registration is held between 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. everyday unless priorly requested, which is, I believe but I'm not positive, a $25 fee for an early booking, even if it is only 30 minutes prior to 4pm. Housekeeping is only performed between registrations. Which means that you should not see housekeeping in your room during your stay however long it may be. A linen exchange may be done at the office on an item for item basis. Each particular instance of the exchange is a cost of $10. I have inquired this fact of other establishments, and I have found that ever since the covid virus truly kicked off in force, this is quite common between many establishments these days.
