I have been trying to find a dentist that accepts my insurance for a while now an I got referred to Mr Dr Edwin Johary an I had an appointment on March 27 2024 an I walked in an checked in an sat down the nurse came out an got me an took me to the back an the other lady that deals with the insurance an they were all really nice when Mr Dr Edwin JOHARY WALKED in I could tell right away that he was a great dentist I would not go anywhere else thank you to Mr Johary an to your staff thanks as well

All the staffs and doctor Johary are super nice and supportive! My dad is 89 years old. He came here to extract all his residual teeth. Got compliments from the doctor many times. I will give them 5+

I was a patient with Johary about 2 years ago, I initially suspected the man was a scam because his staff was very rough with the way they checked my gum pockets, the woman got past 4mm OFTEN. The staff also shamed me for this! I'm 33! He butchered me while pulling a molar out, took forever on a bottom tooth and wasn't good at numbing you or asking "is this numb enough?". After the extraction, Johary told me that I would have to pull every single tooth out of my head and that new dentures would cost $10000. Then he shamed my income and said I wouldn't be able to afford it! They kept trying to make me come back to them with calls and texts and emails. I just worked up the nerve to try dental work again and I went to Gainesville Dental Associates and their staff didn't shame me, and they only needed to extract 3 teeth total and they can fill the rest! By the way, 2 years after this guy's staff stabbed my gums and told me I had 4mm+ pockets, Gainesville Dental Associates told me none of my gum pockets were deeper than 3mm. It was then that I understood just how awful Johary and his staff are. They will screw your mouth up and create more work. I wouldn't be surprised to find out officially somehow that Edwin Johary is the worst dentist in Gainesville. 0/10 do not go here. Also, I noticed that most other patients that I saw there appeared to be debilitated or mentally handicapped, which adds to the sadness because it appeared people just dropped those people off and they might not even have the capacity to tell you what I'm telling you.

Dr. Johary is a professional. If you want your dental care done right I would recommend scheduling an office visit. The staff were kind and helpful .
