Disrespectful to a deceased Veteran and his family. On 12/28/2022 around 1:00 PM, per the instructions of the Veterans Administration we requested a Memorial flag for my deceased father who served in Vietnam and was honorably discharged. We presented the postal worker with his discharge paperwork. (This was the lady in the middle section). This lady was very nice, however she stated she was unaware of the process. (This is understandable as I am sure it is not a regular occurrence) However the lady in the last section was disrespectful, and harsh. Despite us saying this was for a deceased Veteran she treated us like criminals trying to steal the flag. We had his DD form 214. She barked out that we needed a death certificate and rolled her eyes when we stated we were told otherwise. According to what we were told the USPS must have adequate supplies of flags to honor those who have served, and it must NOT be denied due to paperwork. We were denied the flag. The biggest issue is not the denying of the flag, but the disrespect to a deceased Veteran. I want to reiterate the lady in the middle section was very nice and offered her condolences. She would have received a five star review. This is only directed to the woman working in the last section.

It never fails that I always feel Unwelcomed here ESPECIALLY from the old lady that works in that small building. Every time I go to drop a package off and I have questions, she gives me a vivid look of disgust. I do my best to avoid that place unless its urgent because of her. Multiple times after asking questions she makes it obvious she is SUPER ANNOYED . Anyways Post Office of Fruitland Park, I hope you can teach her better manners if she is representing your store. I am so tired and distraught. The next time of it happens, Im calling her out for it. Im usually a quiet sweet person but never have I ever felt SO UNCOMFORTABLE. There have been a couple times already when I walk in, moments later she looks at her coworker then they look at me and snicker at me. How rude.

Love this post office very friendly helpful people. Walk right in no line most of the time.
