    Update: Called the company never received a return phone call. Unless Kris the owner has left or change of heart I dont think there is a resolution. I also filled small claim with this company and got zero response. I dropped the case because Im just wasting my time. But for anyone else make sure to hire home inspector to document the rebuild. This company took advantage of a 18yr Military Vet. I hired APEX for post-hurricane Michael repairs. For the remediation phase, I rate the company 3 stars. They took longer than expected, resulting in extended equipment charges. Unfortunately, they didn't follow mold report procedures and did unauthorized work, leading to additional costs not covered by insurance. Regarding the Rebuild, my rating drops to 1 star. Their estimate was inaccurate and caused insurance payment delays. The estimator continuously added unnecessary items, causing disagreements. The project supervisor's lack of oversight led to worker disturbances and missed code enforcement visits, resulting in a failed inspection. Inaccuracies continued in the rebuilding process. Incorrect sheetrock was used on the ceiling, and installation issues arose. The drywallers even left screws behind and installed sheetrock right over them, causing further problems. They also mishandled the ceiling texture removal, causing extreme water damage to the ceiling. Material theft by the drywallers added to the complications. Due to ongoing problems and lost trust, I terminated the contract. Regrettably, APEX billed me for unsupported labor hours and unauthorized expenses, exceeding insurance coverage by $10k. It's worth noting that APEX refuses to address concerns about the completed work.
