We appreciate you taking time to leave us a review and we extend our apologies for any unprofessional behavior or vagueness you may have encountered in your quote and communications from our company. Please know we will always do our best to make changes based on customer feedback. It is  correct that we charge a $65 Tech Evaluation fee for a site visit to verify size and thickness when it is in question, as all windows and glass are not the same and many times need to be verified on site. The $65 fee is however credited back to the customer, when the work/estimate is accepted as we confirmed it was in your transaction. We do our best to provide a competitive yet economical service to our customers to offer window repairs in lieu of an entire window replacement. We base our quotes on the total time estimated to complete a job from start to finish (which includes preparation of the glass at our shop, Man-hours, drive time, etc.) We really do appreciate your business and again, we apologize that your experience was not a good one with Chaunceys Glass.
