Water's Edge Dermatology - Port St Lucie West Specialty

My husband had an infected cyst on his back. Tonya at the Vero Beach office had removed one previously so we called the office and made an appointment. When we arrived for the appointment she said it was too infected to remove so gave him another prescription for an antibiotic making no attempt to lance it whatsoever. This was now at least two solid weeks later from our first call to that office. The office now tells us we need to see a plastic surgeon in their office in PSL but the soonest that we can get in will be over 30 days out. We made the soonest available appointment. Our first visit the Dr lanced the cyst and set us up to return. again over 30 days out to actually remove the cyst. The morning of the 3:15 appointment we received a call that they would like to move the appointment time up to 2:00. I immediately called back the number left on the message and told them we would be there at 2:00. I didnt hear back so before noon I called again and still received a voicemail so once again reconfirmed our 2:00 arrival. We arrived at 1:45 and checked in. The receptionist did not indicate that she had not moved our appointment up. At 2:30 I went to her and asked her if there was a problem as we had been waiting 45 minutes after rearranging our entire day to be there at 2:00. She said she filled the 2:00 when she didnt hear from me and denied getting either of my messages. She said at that time we would be after the very next patient. We continued to wait. Finally at 3:30 without being called we told her we were leaving. We had waited 1 hour and 45 minutes and driven an hour to get there. We are 76 years old and this is the first time we have ever been in such a mixed up scheduling mess with no attempt on their part to fit us in before nearly 2 hours of waiting. We have been WatersEdge patients for nearly 20 years and this is how we were treated. We are now researching dermatologists to start over. I would not recommend them to anyone until they organize their appointment scheduling. In the meantime my husband still has the cyst in his back 3 months later.

Got the job done. On time. Professional. A bit too corporate for my taste. Very polite but short, everyone but receptionist, she was at least friendly. I felt rushed also with procedure.

I used to really like this office but it has been very disappointing in how it's being run, I tried earlier this year to get an appointment and this young lady at the front desk was very rude and hung up and I kept calling and no one was picking up, I finally got a very nice man on the phone and he was very accommodating, I tried the other office and they have to reschedule me, sad. I am trying a new doctor's office, hopefully more professional and staff actually does their jobs.

Everyone in the office was very polite I arrived at the office early and was actually seen by the doctor by my scheduled time. I met Dr Cromwell for the first time today. He came in and sat down and explained things throughly and gave me plenty of time to ask questions. I needed to have an appointment with another doctor. His office set up an appointment for me right there making sure I was able to go that day. It was all very efficient
